We've been studying animals for science this year, so as treat we all went on a field trip to the National Zoo (with Grandmama!).
The seal exhibit was our favorite.
Although Jonathan had just gotten stung by a bee. Brave boy recovered quickly,
Dorathea was intent on sketching the animals :)

We saw everything there was to see and had an exhausting and wonderful time. Thanks for coming with us Grandmama!
It looks warm there! And Dorathea is looking so grown-up! I love the sketching - Abi has been asking me if we can paint things while we are out in nature. We will have to try sketching!
